ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif, Thoothukudi, to expedite the suit in O.S.No.25 of 2019 and complete the trial within a time bound manner as stipulated by this Court.

2.This Court, vide order dated 27.01.2026, had directed the learned Principal District Munsif, Thoothukudi, to send a year wise pendency report of the pending suits and in compliance of the same, the learned Principal District Munsif, Thoothukudi, had sent a report vide proceedings, dated 18.02.2026, annexing the breakup details with regard to the pendency of the cases arising from the year up to 2026, which was addressed to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court. From the perusal of the same, it is seen that the total number of pending cases is 518 and the pendency of the cases in the year 2019 is 27. He further stated that he is also holding the in-charge of Additional District Munsif, Thoothukudi and the pending before that Court is 352.

3.Since the present case is of the year 2019, the learned Principal 2/4

District Munsif, Thoothukudi, is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the case in O.S.No.25 of 2019 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the aforesaid directions, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
