O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the show cause notice issued by the first respondent herein calling upon the petitioner seeking explanation why the passport should not be cancelled on the ground that a criminal case is pending.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in C.C.No.706 of 2025 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Nanguneri.

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court concerned, seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case, if any such application is filed, the learned trial Judge is directed to dispose of the same within a period of four weeks. Depending upon the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
