Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to conduct the regular Poojas by the trust to the Arulmighu Neelakandan Kovil situated in Balakrishna Mudaliar Street, Pasumpon Nagar, Madakulam Village Madurai, by considering the representation dated 21.11.2025.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to conduct the regular Poojas by the trust to the Arulmighu Neelakandan Kovil situated in Balakrishna Mudaliar Street, Pasumpon Nagar, Madakulam Village Madurai, by considering the representation dated 21.11.2025.

2.The said prayer cannot be considered at this juncture, since there is a suit pending between the parties. However, the petitioner and the other respondents and other worshippers are permitted to worship for this present Shivaratri. The other issues regarding the petitioner and the private respondents shall be adjudicated before the competent Civil Court.

3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
