This petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing Respondents to grant permission and to give police protection to conduct the Kabadi Tournament Scheduled on 26.12.2025 and 27.12.2025 by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2025.

ORDER

This petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission and to give Police protection to conduct the Kabadi Tournament Scheduled on 26.12.2025 and 27.12.2025 by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that he has no objection to the conduct of the kabaddi tournament, provided that the mike used during the tournament does not exceed the prescribed decibel limit.

3. Considering the above said submission, the respondent Police are directed consider the petitioner's representation, dated 12.12.2025 by imposing conditions, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated by the respondents Police without fail. The petitioner shall ensure that no law and order problem is created in the course of conducting the tournament.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
