O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose of pending O.A.No.33 of 2016 within a stipulated 1/4

period as may be fixed by this Court in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2025.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that certain individuals filed O.A. No.33 of 2016 before the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Tiruchirappalli, and the same is pending consideration. The grievance of the petitioner is that, on account of the pendency of the said proceedings, the said individuals are causing disturbance within the temple premises. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent on 09.10.2025, requesting the respondent to dispose of O.A. No.33 of 2016 at the earliest. However, no action has been taken on the said representation till date. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the case in O.A.No.33 of 2016 would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondent to dispose of the 2/4

case in O.A.No.33 of 2016 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
