O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing respondents 1 and 2 to survey the petitioner's property situated at Kannakudi Village in Survey No.211/4, to an extent of three acres, purchased by the petitioner through a registered sale deed bearing Document No.1372 of 2023, based on the petitioner's online application dated 06.09.2025 in Online Application No. 2025/0123/15/009523 and to consider the representation submitted on behalf of the petitioner by her father to the first respondent and others on 11.09.2025 through registered post, with proof of delivery, for taking necessary action to survey the petitioner's property. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Having regard to the nature of the order proposed to be 2/6

passed in this writ petition, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that a representation dated 11.09.2025 was made seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question. Since no action has been taken by the respondents 1 and 2, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that the petitioner's application will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2025 for survey on merits and in accordance with law. Notice shall be issued to the petitioner, the third respondent and the owners of relevant adjacent lands and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this 3/6

order. In the event of any rival claims, the same can be agitated before the competent civil court. No costs.
