O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to measure and demarcate the petitioner's properties in S.No.174/11 measuring the extent of 0.08.50 Hectares situated at Gantharvakottai Taluk, Thuvar Village, Pudukkottai District and also direct to give adequate police protection by the 4th respondent during the survey and fencing by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.11.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The petitioner submitted an application along with necessary fees on 15.11.2025 to conduct survey and demarcate the properties in question. However, no action has been taken on the said application. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/5
4. Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submits that after consideration of the claims of both the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
5. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 15.11.2025 and demarcate the land of the petitioner, after considering the claims of both the parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are rival claims, the said issues can be agitated before the civil Court. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
