ORDER

Seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.53 of 2025 from the second respondent to the file of the third respondent, this petition is filed. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner herein is the wife of the defacto complainant in Crime No.53 of 2025, dated 18.02.2025, which was registered for the offence under Section 305(a) of BNS, 2023 (corresponding 380 of IPC). The case is all about the theft of jewelry weighing 75 grams. However, despite registering the FIR in Crime No. 53 of 2025, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the present Criminal Original Petition came to be filed.

3.Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

4.Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the 1st respondent is directed to monitor the investigation conducted by the 2nd respondent and the 2nd respondent is directed to apprise the progress of the investigation every weekend to the 1st respondent. 2/4

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
