The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2025 and grant sanction for granting long term lease of the waqf property to run an educational institution in terms of Rule 17 of the Waqf Properties Lease Rules, 2014 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned 2/5

counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it is suffice if the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2025 is directed to be considered and disposed of by the respondents within a time frame.

3. The learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2025 will be disposed of by the respondents within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Recording the above submissions and without expressing any opinion on the claim made by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to independently consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
