This petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, direction the 2nd respondent from interfering in the petitioner's duties as Trustee to Administer the Sri Nithyanndhaswamigal Ponnambalaswamigal Temple situated at Korangu Mada Theru, Puthupettai, Tirunelveli District.

ORDER

This petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent from interfering in the petitioner's duties as Trustee to Administer the Sri Nithyanndhaswamigal Ponnambalaswamigal Temple situated at Korangu Mada Theru, Puthupettai, Tirunelveli District.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent would submit that the petitioner has not given any representation regarding the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition.

3. The petitioner is directed to submit a detailed representation to the first respondent claiming that it is their temple. On such submission of representation, the first respondent shall consider the same and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 19.12.2025 Indu Note: Issue order copy on 19.12.2025.
