ORDER

These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to direct the Special Court for SC and ST POA Act Cases, Pudukkottai to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender in connection with crime no.195 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd Respondent Police.

2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

3. The case of the prosecution is that on 15.10.2025, the petitioners and others picked a quarrel with the de facto complainant's wife while she was bathing in Kanmai. When the de facto complainant intervened, they allegedly used filthy language with her caste name and threatened them with dire consequences. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioner.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the Judge, the Special Court for SC and ST POA Act Cases, Pudukkottai, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with crime No.195 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

6. Accordingly, these Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
