O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.05.2025 and consequently directing the second and third respondents to survey the petitioner's land in Survey No. 108/1D, measuring an extent of 0.2.00 ares, situated at Kallippattu Village, Sembanur Post, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.
2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an application was made for demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question as early as 08.04.2024 along with the requisite fee; that since the same has not been considered, the petitioner sent a Page No. 2 of 5
representation dated 12.05.2025, which also did not evoke any response; and that therefore, the petitioner was constrained to file the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that part of the land in Survey No.108/1D was already acquired for laying the road; that however, compensation has not been paid and the acquisition proceedings have not been completed due to the dispute; and that proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the remaining land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.05.2025, demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
