Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 and 2 herein from registering any document in respect of properties which is the subject matter of civil suit unnumbered OS E-filing No.ATN320220020455C202500001 of 2025, dated 13.12.2025, on the file of learned Principal District Munsif, Thanjavur, till final decision thereon.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to forbear the respondents 1 and 2 from registering any document in respect of the subject properties in civil suit unnumbered OS E-filing No.ATN320220020455C202500001 of 2025 dated 13.12.2025 on the file of learned Principal District Munsif, Thanjavur, till final decision thereon.

2. Mr.K.S.Selvaganesan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, in the present case, the subject properties belong to the petitioner. Therefore, he filed a protest petition not to register any document in respect of the subject properties.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that if any document is presented for registration in respect of the subject properties, due notice will be issued to the petitioner and after hearing the 2/5

petitioner, decision will be taken. Therefore, he prayed that appropriate orders may be passed.

6. The above submission is recorded. In light of the same, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to issue due notice to the petitioner, if any document is presented for registration in respect of the subject properties in civil suit unnumbered OS E-filing No.ATN320220020455C202500001 of 2025, dated 13.12.2025, on the file of learned Principal District Munsif, Thanjavur, conduct enquiry and thereafter decide on the registration of the presented document.
