Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission to celebrate Christmas function on 24.12.2025 from 6.00 PM to 10.00 PM at Rotary Nagar Tsunami Colony, Thengapattinam, Kanyakumari District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 02.12.2025.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission to celebrate Christmas function on 24.12.2025 from 6.00 PM to 10.00 PM at Rotary Nagar Tsunami Colony, Thengapattinam, Kanyakumari District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 02.12.2025.

2.The Government Advocates appearing for the respondents submitted that there is an order dated 18.12.2025.

3.On perusing the said order, it is seen that the petitioner's representation is not referred at all. Therefore, the 4th respondent Tahsildar is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 02.12.2025and pass a fresh order within a period of 2 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
