O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct a survey of the land and demarcate the four boundaries of the property comprised in Survey No.56/1, measuring an extent of 2.5 cents, situated at Sethurapattai Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District, based on the representation dated 17.11.2025.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an application has been made for the demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question and a representation has also been submitted.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 15.11.2025 and the representation dated 17.11.2025, demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that if required, police assistance shall be taken subject to payment of the necessary charges by the petitioner. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
