The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the respondent to hold an enquiry for issuance of 1/4

legal heirship certificate to the petitioner's brother, based upon his representation dated 14.10.2025.

2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. It could be seen from the records that one Pandiyarajan has passed away on 21.08.2025. The petitioner, who is the sister of said Pandiyarajan, has applied for legal heir certificate. The respondent herein by way of his proceedings dated 09.12.2025 has issued the legal heir certificate in favour of wife of deceased Pandiyarajan. In case, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is open to her to challenge the same in the manner known to law.
