ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the order of rejection passed by the second respondent herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct statewide Conference (Maanila Maanadu) program on 18.01.2026 from 6.00 p.m., to 09.00 p.m., in pursuant to the "Successful completion of fourth year of our Sangam" by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2025 was considered and the same was rejected on the ground that the petitioner proposed to conduct the programme near the Trichy Panchapoor bus stand. He would further submit that the respondent police is ready to grant permission, if the programme is conducted at Thenoor Ulavar Santhai.

3.Considering the above submission, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the second respondent and the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. All other conditions as deemed fit may be imposed by the second respondent.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
