This petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.110/S.M.A/K.T.K/Nanguneri/2025, dated 09.12.2025 and quash the same as illegal, consequently direct the respondents to grant permission for conducting Flood Light Kabaddi Tournament on 10.01.2026.
ORDER
This petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the first respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.110/S.M.A/K.T.K/Nanguneri/2025, dated 09.12.2025, and to quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct a Flood Light Kabaddi Tournament on 10.01.2026.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has not conducted any such Kabaddi Tournament in the past and that this is the first time, he seeks permission. It is further submitted that the area mentioned to conduct the Tournament, is communally sensitive and, therefore, the respondents have denied permission.
3. Since the petitioner intends to involve the villagers in sporting activities, this Court is inclined to consider the request, however, subject to the following conditions:
(i) The petitioner shall file an undertaking affidavit stating that no law and order problem will be caused by the petitioner or the participants. (ii) The Kabaddi Tournament shall be conducted only between 6.00 p.m. and 11.00 p.m.
(iii) The petitioner shall use the sound system strictly within the permissible decibel limits.

With the above directions, the impugned order passed by the first respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.110/S.M.A/K.T.K/Nanguneri/2025, dated 09.12.2025, is set aside and the Writ Petition is accordingly allowed.
