ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus forbearing respondent Nos.3 to 5 from in any manner erecting a High Tension electric transformer in front of the petitioner's house comprised in S.No.326/34A1, situated at S.Pudur Village, Thiruvidaimaruthur Taluk, Thanjavur District. 2/5

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent Nos.3 to 5 submitted that already a pole exists in front of the petitioner's house and only in the same pole, a transformer is going to be erected at a height of more than 15 feet from the ground level. In fact, the said transformer is being erected only to avoid voltage fluctuations.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Standing counsel appearing for respondent Nos.3 to 5, it is made clear that the erection of a High Tension electric transformer would not, in any manner, affect the rights of the writ petitioner, on the other hand, it would be beneficial in avoiding voltage fluctuations.

4. In view of the above said facts, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 30.01.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No TSG 3/5
