ORDER: The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 3(1) of Tamilnadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992, in S.C.No.246 of 2025 on the file of the Additional District Court, Kuzhithurai, Kanyakumari District, in Crime No.481 of 2010 on the file of the police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 25-07-2010 at Padanthalumoodu, the petitioner and the others waylaid a bus and damaged the windshield of the bus. Hence, a case has been registered as against the petitioner. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner has not committed any offence. He seeks this Court to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the offences committed by the petitioner are serious in nature. Further, it is a case of jumped out bail. The petitioner has produced surety but due to lapse of time, the surety was removed. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the 2/5

considered opinion that since it is a case of jumped out bail, anticipatory bail cannot be granted.

6.Therefore, this Court is directing the petitioner to surrender before the Additional District Court, Kuzhithurai, Kanyakumari. The petitioner shall submit a reform petition before the Additional District Court, Kuzhithurai, Kanyakumari. On such submission, the Additional District Court, Kuzhithurai, Kanyakumari, shall consider the petition positively on the same date. 7.With the above said directions, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
