PRAYER : Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India to direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Dindigul, to expedite the hearing in O.S.No.31 of 2018 on its file and dispose of the same within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Dindigul, to expedite the trial and dispose of the suit in O.S.No.31 of 2018, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2.This Court, vide order, dated 06.01.2026, had directed the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Dindigul, to send a year wise pendency report of the pending suits and in compliance of the same, the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Dindigul, had sent a report vide proceedings D.No.6/26, dated 27.01.2026, annexing the breakup details with regard to the pendency of the cases arising from 01.02.2018 to 19.02.2026, which was addressed to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court. From the perusal of the same, it is seen that the total number of pending cases is 614 and the pendency of the cases in the year 2018 is 35.

3.Since the present suit is of the year 2018, the learned Principal District

and Sessions Judge, Dindigul, is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the suit in O.S.No.31 of 2018 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the aforesaid directions, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
