ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the first respondent to renew the petitioner's passport based upon his application dated 21.07.2025.
2.The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 2 and 3 brought to the notice of this court that the petitioner has been implicated in criminal case in Crime No.64 of 2020 on the file of the third respondent Police, which has culminated in filing of charge sheet in C.C.No.99 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Sankarankovil. 3.A perusal of the FIR reveals that the defacto complainant is the wife of the petitioner and due to matrimonial dispute, such a complaint is lodged.

4.In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the concerned Trial Court seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks. Based upon the order of the learned Trial Judge, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law. 5.The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
