The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus to direct the second respondent to re-issue the passport to the petitioner. 2.The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 3 and 4 submits that the criminal case as against the petitioner was closed by the fourth respondent as undetected as early as on 09.09.2021. 3.In view of the above said facts, there is no legal impediment for the second respondent to consider the request of the petitioner for 2/4

issuance of passport. The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's passport application and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the said observations and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
