ORDER

The petitioner, who served as Cashier in the cadre of Assistant Manager in the Sivagangai District Central Co-operative Bank, retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.04.2011. According to him, he received all the retirement benefits except encashment of earned leave salary. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 02.04.2025 to the respondents and also filed this writ petition, seeking a Writ of Mandamus.

When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that the petitioner is not entitled for encashment of earned leave salary. He further submits that the petitioner has already made a representation before the 2nd respondent on 10.01.2017 and the same was considered and rejected by the 2nd respondent, by its proceedings dated 31.01.2017. However, the 2/5

petitioner has kept on sending representations and also filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the rejection proceedings dated 31.01.2017 has not been furnished to the petitioner.

4. Since the petitioner's representation was considered and rejected in the year 2017 itself, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to furnish a copy of the rejection order dated 31.01.2017 to the petitioner. The petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
