ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Session and Special Court for Trial of SC/ST(POA) Act cases, Ramanathapuram, to consider bail application of the petitioner in connection with the FIR in Crime no.209 of 2025 on the file of the 1st Respondent Police on the very same day of the surrender of the petitioner and consequently enlarge the petitioner on bail on the very same day.
2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.
3. The case of the prosecution is that on 14.12.2025, at about 11:00 am, the accused, including the petitioner, interfered with the de facto complainant's road renovation work, assaulted him with a 2/5
deadly weapon, and used filthy language. The accused No.2, mother of accused No.1, also threatened the complainant's life using his caste name. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioner.
4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned Judge, the Session and Special Court for Trial of SC/ST(POA) Act cases, Ramanathapuram, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with crime No.209 of 2025 on the file of the 1st respondent police.
