Respondents PRAYER :- Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records from the 2nd respondent in his proceedings dated 11.02.2022 and Quash the same and consequently reorganize and restore the traditional trusteeship structure consisting of eight (8) Athikara Karaikarargal and eight (8) Ooliya Karaikarargal to manage the temple known as ''Arulmigu Sundaravalli Amman, Nachiyar Amman, Ema Karuppar, Soorakkaruppar, Sundara Moorthy and Paampatti Siththar Thirukovil, Keelaiyur Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2025 within such time as may be fixed by this Court. 2/6

ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records from the 2nd respondent in his proceedings dated 11.02.2022 and quash the same and consequently reorganize and restore the traditional trusteeship structure consisting of eight (8) Athikara Karaikarargal and eight (8) Ooliya Karaikarargal to manage the temple known as ''Arulmigu Sundaravalli Amman, Nachiyar Amman, Ema Karuppar, Soorakkaruppar, Sundara Moorthy and Paampatti Siththar Thirukovil, Keelaiyur Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2025 within a time frame.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the Managing Trustees were appointed by 3/6

impugned scheme order dated 11.02.2022, their period is for two years only and despite the said period has elapsed, still they are continuing as Managing Trustees. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 08.10.2025 in this regard to the official respondents and the same has not been considered. Hence, this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2025 will be disposed of by the 2nd respondent within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Recording the above submissions and without expressing any opinion on the claim made by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, 4/6
