O R D E R

Challenging the inquiry notice dated 30.06.2025 issued by the first respondent, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Having regard to the nature of the order proposed to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.

3.On the basis of representation made for cancellation of patta in respect of the property in Survey No.375/14A to an extent of 15 cents and Survey No.375/13B to an extent of 7.5 cents, in Navinipatti Village, Melur Taluk, an inquiry notice was issued to the petitioner.

4. The grievance of the petitioner now is that the said authority has no jurisdiction and secondly, it is for the civil court to decide the issue. 2/5

5. Since the representation made by the petitioner is pending and the order impugned is an inquiry notice, all claims made before this Court shall be canvassed before the first respondent during the course of inquiry.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to conduct and conclude the inquiry on merits and in accordance with law, without going into the question of limitation and a speaking order shall be passed after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all the persons interested in the subject property. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
