ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned District Judge, Tiruchirappalli, to expedite the trial in O.S.No.195 of 2024 on the file of the said Court within a stipulated time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submitted that the suit in O.S.No.195 of 2024 was filed in the year 2024 by the first respondent against the petitioner and respondents 2 to 4 for declaration and permanent injunction and that the same is pending. During the pendency of the suit, it is alleged that the first respondent attacked the petitioner's father-in-law with goondas on 31.03.2024 and thereafter installed an electric motor and fencing in the property. In this regard, the petitioner's husband lodged a complaint on 13.04.2024, which was subsequently closed. According to the learned counsel, the suit has been filed only with an intention to extract money from the defendants and therefore, sought a direction for expeditious disposal of the suit. 2/4

3. This Court has considered the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner. The suit in question is of the year 2024. Considering the year of institution of the suit, this Court does not find any compelling reason to issue a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial.

4. Hence, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed for want of merits. No costs.
