Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st Respondent to direct the 4th Respondent to redeem the irrigation canal of Nalludaiyan Enthal which is destroyed by the 5th and 6th Respondents and consequently direct them to rectify the wrong entry for the classification of the petitioners lands as Wet 1/5

instead of dry in the computerized Chitta and 10(1) for survey No.115/3 in Patta No.247 of S.Mathur Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2025 within the stipulated time limit as fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to direct the 4th respondent to redeem the irrigation canal of Nalludaiyan Enthal which is destroyed by the respondents 5 and 6 and to direct them to rectify the wrong entry of classification of the petitioner's lands as wet instead of dry in the computerized Chitta and 10(1) for S.No.115/3 in Patta No.247 of S.Mathur Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2025.

2. Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondents 5 and 6, notice to them is dispensed with. 2/5

3. By consent on either sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation on 13.10.2025 to redeem the irrigation canal of Nalludaiyan Enthal and to rectify the wrong entry of classification of the petitioner's land as wet instead of dry in the computerized Chitta and 10(1) for S.No.115/3, Patta No.247, S.Mathur Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District. However, the same is yet to be considered. Hence, the Writ Petition.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered within the time stipulated by this Court.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2025 and dispose of the same, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
