This petitioner is working as a Junior Engineer Grade I in the office of the Assistant Engineer (Distribution/Urban), Maharaja Nagar, Tirunelveli. While so, he has been transferred from Tirunelveli to Tuticorin vide proceedings in Memo No. 1000010179/084007/G.11/G.112/2025, dated 15.12.2025.

Aggrieved by that transfer order, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2.Today(05.01.2026), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner by referring to the proceedings in Memo No.

769/SE/TEDC/Adm-1/A1/E.Mod.Order/25, dated 26.12.2025 submits that pending this writ petition, the petitioner has once again been transferred from Tuticorin to Arumuganeri as per the above 2/5

proceedings and therefore, this writ petition challenging the earlier transfer order has now become infructuous. He further submits that the petitioner is intending to file a separate writ petition challenging the subsequent transfer order, dated 26.12.2025. 3.Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is closed with liberty to this petitioner to work out his remedy in the subsequent writ petition to be filed him. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
