This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to conduct a proper land survey of the petitioner's punja land measuring 3 acres and 33 cents, comprised in Survey No.183/2A2, situated at Cholachery Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, Sethur Sub-Registrar Jurisdiction, Virudhunagar Registration District, and to measure the same, demarcate the boundaries and fix boundary stones as per the sale deed registered as Document No.2452 of 2021, dated 09.09.2021, on the file of the Sethur Sub-Registrar Office, with police protection to be provided by the third respondent, based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2025.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that a representation dated 25.11.2025 was made seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question. Since no action has been taken by the respondents 1 and 2, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submits that if the petitioner pays the requisite survey fees, appropriate steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
5. In view of the above, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2025 for survey and demarcation on merits and in accordance with law. Notice shall be issued to the petitioner and the owners of relevant adjacent lands 3/6
and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the same can be agitated before the competent civil court. No costs.
