ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Pattukkottai, Thanjavur District to expedite the trial in H.M.O.P.No.143 of 2023, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2.This Court, vide order dated 07.01.2026, had directed the learned Subordinate Judge, Pattukkottai, to send a year wise pendency report of the pending suits and in compliance of the same, the learned Subordinate Judge, Pattukkottai, had sent a report vide proceedings D.No.46/26, dated 22.01.2026, annexing the breakup details with regard to the pendency of the cases arising from the year 2015 to 2025, which was addressed to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court. From the perusal of the same, it is seen that the total number of pending cases is 331 and the pendency of the cases in the year 2023 is 41. 3.Mr.N.Balakrishnan, learned counsel for the sole respondent/ wife submitted that the wife has filed I.A.No.63 of 2024 for interim alimony, which is resisted by the revision petitioner, where the arguments on the side of wife was completed and the matter is posted for the arguments on the side of the husband on 17.02.2026.

4.In the view of the submissions made on either side, the trial Court is hereby directed to here the arguments on the side of the husband 2/4

in I.A.No.63 of 2024 and conclude the same on the day itself. 5.Since the present H.M.O.P. is of the year 2023, the learned Subordinate Judge, Pattukkottai, is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the suit in H.M.O.P.No.143 of 2023 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. 6.With the aforesaid directions, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
