ORDER

WMP(MD)No.29290 of 2025 filed to permit the petitioners to file a single writ petition is allowed.

The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to release the document No.P/43 pending on the file of the 1st respondent with regard to the property comprised in Plot No.25A - T.S.No.58 now subdivision N1.154/1-Ward AV, Block No.14 of Trichy Corporation at once.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are the owners of the subject property and they intend 2/5

to sell the property, for which, they presented a sale deed for registration before the 1st respondent, whereas the 1st respondent kept the document pending and informed the petitioners orally that the 2nd respondent has made objection to the registration. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that since the 2nd respondent has objected to registration of the subject property, the 1st respondent issued notice to the 2nd respondent and is conducting enquiry. He would further submit that as soon as the enquiry is completed, final orders will be passed by the 2nd respondent.

5. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to complete the enquiry on the objection of the 2nd respondent with regard to registration of the subject property and pass appropriate orders in accordance 3/5

with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
