ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate for the official respondents. Issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

2. The petitioner alleges that in the petition mentioned water channel, there are encroachments.

3. The jurisdictional Tahsildar is directed to conduct survey. Based on the survey results, the second respondent is directed to take action under the 2/4

Tamil Nadu Protection of Tank and Eviction of Encroachment Act, 2007. Notice will be issued to all the encroachers. All the encroachments will be removed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
