ORDER

Seeking to direct the second respondent to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner in terms of his complaint dated 05.11.2025, this Criminal Original Petition is filed. 2.Considering the nature of the order to be passed, notice to the respondents 3 to 5 is dispensed with.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's father, namely, Poovana Moopar was survived by four sons including the petitioner and after his demise, the petitioner and his brothers inherited his ancestral property and Patta stands in the name of their father and the same has not been mutated in favour of the respective shareholders. In view of the same, having come to know about the said fact, the respondents 3 to 5 are indulging in creating false documents and obtaining Patta. In this regard, the petitioner gave a petition before the Sub-Collector, Periyakulam and the same was forwarded to the Tahsildar for further action vide proceedings dated 08.03.2025 in O.Mu.No. 809/2025/A1. Despite pendency of the same, the respondents 3 to 5 are 2/5

committing damage to the agricultural property of the petitioner.Hence, the petitioner sought the indulgence of this Court. 4.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side), on instructions, submitted that with respect to the petitioner's complaint, investigation is pending.

5.Considering the fact that the petitioner has already given a complaint on 05.11.2025 as against the respondents 3 to 5, the respondent police is directed to look into the matter in accordance with law and afford police protection if necessary. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
