praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating the impugned list vide Notification No.1/2024 dated 02.09.2025 for the list of candidates provisionally selected for the post of Salesman in the Public Distribution System fair price shops run by the Co-operative Societies under the control of Registrar of Co-operative Societies in Ramanathapuram District issued by the 3rd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently select the petitioner to the post of Salesman.

ORDER
The petitioner is a destitute widow. The petitioner's husband died on 17.05.2022 leaving her, minor daughter and minor son. The 3rd respondent Society has issued a Notification No.1/2024 calling for applications for the post of Salesman in the Fair Price Shop. The petitioner has applied for the post of Salesman under the category of MBC/DNC and destitute widow. Since the petitioner has not been selected, she has filed this writ petition questioning the selection list. 2/6
2. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents furnished a typed set of paper along with the statement of marks, secured by each candidate, who participated in the selection process.

According to the Additional Advocate General, one K.Sangeetha, D/o.R.Kasinathan, who secured 68 marks, has been selected under the category of MBC/DNC/destitute widow and yet another candidate one K.Saranya, D/o.K.Karmegam, who secured 67.33 marks, has also been selected under the category of MBC/DNC/destitute widow. According to the learned Additional Advocate General, this petitioner has secured 52 marks and therefore, she is not under the zone of consideration. The typed set of papers filed along with the marks statement is also furnished to the petitioner.
4. In view of the submission of the learned Additional Advocate General, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to upload and furnish the break-up details the manner in which the marks 3/6
have been awarded to the selected candidates, to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event, if the petitioner is still having a grievance that she has not been awarded with appropriate marks, it is always open to her to workout her remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
