Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondent Nos.2 and 3 to conduct preliminary

enquiry and take appropriate action and consequently, to direct the Respondent No.1 to provide adequate compensation to the petitioners regarding violation of right for decent burial of his mother namely Periyanatchiammal on the basis of the petitioner's representations dated 11.09.2023, 05.08.2024 and 24.09.2024, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondent Nos.2 and 3 to conduct preliminary enquiry and take appropriate action and consequently, to direct the Respondent No.1 to provide adequate compensation to the petitioners regarding violation of right for decent burial of his mother namely Periyanatchiammal on the basis of the petitioner's representations dated 11.09.2023, 05.08.2024 and 24.09.2024, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.This Court without expressing any opinion on merits is directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's claim and representations, dated 11.09.2023, 05.08.2024 and 24.09.2024, and pass orders in accordance to law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
