Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to pass an order by punishing the contemnor / Respondent for her willful disobedience of the order by this Court passed in W.P.(MD).No.20000 of 2025 dated 23-07-2025.
ORDER
This Court without expressing any opinion on merits directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders. 2.The petitioner is seeking to implement an agriculture scheme in his land but there is a land dispute between the petitioner and Sivanandi and a suit is pending. According to the respondent, the revenue records stand in the name of Sivanandi. Therefore, the scheme is offered to Sivanandi and not to the petitioner. claiming that he is the owner of the land and therefore, the scheme should be granted to him.
3.When there is a title dispute in the land, the petitioner cannot insist to implement the scheme and offer the scheme to him. Therefore, there is no alleged contempt. If the petitioner is agreed by the communication dated 03.11.2025, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same. However, the entire issue can be settled only after the suit is completed.
