O R D E R

The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging violation of the order of this Court dated 16.10.2025 made in W.P.(MD).No.29171 of 2025.

2.In the order referred to above, this Court directed the second respondent, namely, the Managing Director of Karur Vysya Bank, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits.

3.In response to the notice issued by this Court, the respondent filed a counter affidavit stating that the representation dated 15.09.2025, alleged to have been submitted by the petitioner, was never received by the second respondent. However, upon receipt of the legal notice dated 15.12.2025 issued by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the claim of the petitioner was considered and a reply was sent by way of a letter dated 16.12.2025. It is further stated that the said letter was duly communicated to the petitioner as well as to the learned counsel for the petitioner, and the respective postal acknowledgements signed by them 2/5

have been placed on record. However, for reasons best known to him, the petitioner has filed the present contempt petition suppressing the said letter dated 16.12.2025.

4.The learned counsel for the respondent further submitted that the petitioner was dismissed from service and, therefore, the question of payment of any pension to the petitioner does not arise. It is also submitted that all other amounts due and payable to the petitioner have already been settled.

5.In the light of the above, particularly in view of the letter dated 16.12.2025 issued by the respondents, there is nothing on record to indicate that the respondent has committed any contempt of this Court or violated the order passed by this Court.
