O R D E R
This Writ Petition is filed directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct the survey and fix the four boundaries with boundary stone by obtaining adequate police protection from the fourth respondent in property S.No.237/12B3, now classified at Natham Survey No.479/30, 31, 32 in Kurichippatty Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner survey Online application No. 2025/0123/24/021225 dated 25.10.2025 and the reminder representation dated 13.12.2025.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondents 5 and 6, notice to the respondents 5 and 6 is hereby dispensed with.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the lawful owner of the subject property and is in 3/7
possession and enjoyment thereof. With a view to properly identify the boundaries and avoid future disputes, the petitioner submitted an online application No.2025/0123/24/021225 dated 25.10.2025 before the competent revenue authorities seeking survey the land and fix the four boundaries of the said land. Despite the said application, the official respondents have failed to take any action to survey the land and fix the four boundaries of the petitioner's land within a reasonable time. Hence, the petitioner has been constrained to approach this Court by filing the present Writ Petition.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that proper steps would be taken to survey the land and fix the four boundaries in accordance with the law.

Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 25.10.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of sixteen (16) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The application shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The second respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the 4/7
petitioner, the respondents 5 and 6 and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision. It is needless to state that the revenue officials may seek assistance from the fourth respondent Police, if Police assistance is required while carrying out such survey. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
