Respondents PRAYER :-Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS directing the respondents 1 to 6 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioners' representation dated 01.11.2025 and 15.11.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Honble Court and Restraining the 8th respondent from carrying out any demolition, reconstruction or rebuilding work in the Malikdinar Mosque Waqf property without obtaining prior permission from the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board and the competent Municipal Authority, and in accordance with law forthwith. ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 6 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioners' representations dated 01.11.2025 and 15.11.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court and restraining the 8th respondent 2/5

from carrying out any demolition, reconstruction or rebuilding work in the Malikdinar Mosque Waqf property without obtaining prior permission from the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board and the competent Municipal Authority, and in accordance with law forthwith.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the 8th respondent would submit that already they have demolished the wakf property and that the prayer has become infructuous. The said submission is recorded.

3. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
