ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / Accused who apprehends arrest in the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 468 and 471 of IPC, in Crime No.6 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons had collected a sum of Rs.1,80,00,000/- from the defacto complainant for the investment to purchase iridium and earn more money and thereby cheated the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner was falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/4

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner has involved in very serious offence and the investigation is still pending. Hence, he objected to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner has involved in very serious offence and the investigation is at initial stage. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. (S S Y J) 21.01.2026 TTA TO 1.The Inspector of Police, Ocu-Madruai, Cbcid-Ocu.
