This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to return the final decree in O.S.No.190/2025 dated 13.10.2025 registered under pending document number 127/2025 by 1/4

considering the representation of the petitioner dated 17/12/2025 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since there was a civil dispute between the petitioner and others, a suit for partition was instituted by the family members in OS No.190/2025, which was settled amicably through Lok Adalat and a final decree was also passed on 13.10.2025. On obtaining the certified copy of the final decree, the petitioner, who was arrayed as the 3rd defendant in the suit, presented the decree for registration on 04.12.2025. However, the same was pending without registration. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents on 17.10.2025. Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. However, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner would 2/4

be considered within a period of two weeks.

5. Considering the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.10.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
