ORDER

The Petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take action on CSR No.1008 of 2024 on the file of second respondent police registered at the instance of the petitioner's complaint dated 04.12.2024 in terms of the law laid down by the Honble Apex Court in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. State of U.P reported in 2014(2) SCC 1

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted for the complaint given by the petitioner CSR No.1008 of 2004 assigned enquiry is pending and he seeks 15 days time to complete the enquiry.

3. In view of the same, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner as per law and close the same within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order 2/4

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
