COMMON JUDGMENT The Thanjavur Municipality represented by its Commissioner, is now the appellant in these three second appeals.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the appellant has filed a memo dated 07.06.2025, stating that the prayer sought for in the second appeals have become infructuous.

3. A perusal of the records reveal that the lessees of shops outside the Thanjavur Big Temple had filed the suits seeking an injunction not to evict them before the lapse of the lease period and to restore electricity connections. The suits were dismissed by the Trial Court. However, the first appeals were allowed. Challenging the same, the present second appeals have been filed by the Thanjavur Municipality.

4. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the appellant Municipality, the lessees have been removed from the said place and they 4/6

have been provided with alternative site. Therefore, nothing survives in the second appeals.

5. Recording the same, all the three second appeals are dismissed as infructuous. Registry is directed to print the name of Mr.N.Dilipkumar as the Standing Counsel for the appellant Municipality.
