The appellant herein filed W.P.(MD)No.23914 of 2016 seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.1527 of 2016 on the file of Vilakuthoon police station. The writ petition was dismissed on 05.04.2017. Questioning the same, this writ appeal came to be filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the case was charge sheeted and taken on file in S.C.No.682 of 2018 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai. The case ended in acquittal on 02.01.2020. 2/4
