This writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned notice issued by the respondent in C.No.P1/026468/2024 dated 15.11.2024.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the impugned show cause notice was issued as against the petitioner based on the conviction in a proceeding initiated under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act and that the proceeding under Section 138 itself was closed before the Lok Adalat.

3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. 17.12.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index :Yes/No Rmk To The Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Tirunelveli District.
