ORDER

The petitioner has sought for a writ of mandamus, to conduct survey based on his representation dated 18.11.024.

2. I have heard Mr.S.Balaji, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mrs.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

4. The petitioner, based on a registered sale deed as well as mutation of patta in his name, has made the application for survey. There can be no impediment for a survey being conducted as sought for by the petitioner. Considering the petitioner's application dated 18.11.2024 being pending with the respondents, a direction is issued to the respondents to conduct a survey, based on the said application, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
