O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed by a retired Agricultural Officer seeking a mandamus as against the first respondent to pass final order in the disciplinary proceedings.

2. The petitioner herein, while he was in service, was issued with a charge memo on 12.04.2013, and the enquiry has been completed, the enquiry Officer has submitted report on 22.09.2015. The petitioner has been issued with a show cause notice, for which the petitioner has submitted further representation on 19.11.2015. Though, the petitioner had attained superannuation on 31.01.2017, he was not permitted to retire in view of the pendency of the charge memo. Even though the enquiry was completed in the year 2015, so far final orders have not been passed by the first respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/4

Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
