For Petitioner : Mr.M.Prabu For R3 to R9 : Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar Additional Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER The petitioners in these writ petitions are the victims of the fraud played by Neomax Private Limited and its group of companies. The petitioners invested huge sum of amount in that company, but the company had purchased the properties in its name and its Directors and also in the name of its benami. On coming to know about the fraud played by the company, the petitioners lodged complaints by post. However, the same was returned as refused. Hence, the petitioners have filed these writ petitions seeking to receive the complaint given by the petitioners. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that the complaints lodged by the petitioners were received and appropriate steps will be taken soon to safeguard the interest of the depositors.

3.In view of the above submission, this Court directs the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Madurai to take appropriate steps on the representations submitted by the petitioners in these writ petitions preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Additional Director General of Police, Economic Offence, Chennai Wing is directed to monitor the progress of the case and the steps that are taken by the concerned Deputy Superintendent of Police.

4.With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
